Doors runs on the desktop background along with other applications. We've made it simpler than ever to get your PXL-500 Tiger II Controller Platform up and running. You don't even have to load its configuration and management software on your system because we ship it to you already loaded on a PC. Now that's plug-and-play! Along with the preloaded Doors Access Control Software, the system has a Windows XP operating system and a COM port configured for the PXL-500 connection. The software uses a proprietary communications protocol to check all controllers on the PXL-500 network automatically and then configures itself according to the connected hardware. Up to 32 system operators, each with password protection, can use the software. Each connected controller can store up to 3640 events that can be transferred to the Doors software for storage on the host PC's hard disk for event reporting.
