In May 2001 Electrospec, Inc. was approved for ISO 9001:2000 Certification by SGS Systems & Services Certification. Our ISO quality system incorporates all of the relevant standards of ANSI/ESDS20.20-1999 that are applicable to an electronic components distributor.  Our facility supports the highest levels of quality assurance, including full ESD compliance, constant training programs for personnel, and a rigid set of procedures monitored by QC staff and management.

Vendor Screening Process:

Due to the flood of substandard and counterfeit electronic components, vendor risk management has become a vital part of the Electrospec, Inc. purchasing process.  Vendors are pre-qualified and continually evaluated to ensure product received is procured from a reliable source.  Vendors are rated based on quality of past orders, industry references, and quality certifications.

Incoming Inspection Process:

Electrospec, Inc. has installed a strict incoming inspection and screening process.  We thoroughly inspect all our goods in accordance with IDEA-STD-1010-A.  All material goes through detailed testing and inspection including: visual inspection of material and packaging, image collection, comparison to manufacturer specifications, and counterfeit detection methods.
